We're looking for a dedicated Student support coordinator to join our supportive team at Aylward Academy.

You're someone who'll be able to:

  • Provide pastoral care, guidance and routine advice to students as appropriate.
  • Lead on the preparation of parents evening along with the Student Support Administrator
  • Support and deputise for the Director of Learning when necessary, attending tutor team briefings.

You're someone who has:

  • Experience in motivating students and promoting high expectations with students.

Based in Edmonton, North London, Aylward Academy was established in September 2010 and is an 11-19 learning community with over 1,000 students on roll, including a thriving sixth form. Aylward is situated within a diverse and vibrant London community. Many of our students have English as an additional language, and a significant proportion are entitled to the Pupil Premium. The school is currently rated as GOOD by its last Ofsted inspection in July 2021. The role is due to commence January 2025 or earlier if possible. This is a full time, permanent position.
