Our client, a nurturing and inclusive nursery, is seeking a Deputy Nursery Room Leader to join their supportive team. Caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years, this nursery provides tailored education and a warm, welcoming environment that supports every stage of early development.
As a Deputy Nursery Room Leader, you’ll play a key role in assisting the Room Leader with the day-to-day running of the room, inspiring your team, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education are delivered. What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: A Level 3 Early Years Qualification is essential.
- Experience: Proven experience in a nursery setting, ideally with some leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and inspire colleagues.
- Passion for Early Years: A genuine enthusiasm for nurturing young children and fostering their development.
- Knowledgeable: A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and childcare best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Room Leadership: Support the Room Leader in overseeing the room, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Child Development: Help plan and deliver engaging activities that align with the EYFS framework.
- Staff Support: Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering collaboration and a positive atmosphere.
- Parent Partnerships: Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s progress.
