We are working with a highly regarded and well-established construction, refurbishment and fit-out contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK.
The company has been on a strong growth trajectory and has secured a number of exciting projects. They are now looking for an Estimator to join their team and work on a selection of high-profile fit-out projects across Manchester.
As an Estimator, your duties will include:
* Issuing tender enquiries
* Awarding subcontract orders
* Tenders, including measuring, issuing enquiries, coordinating with the supply chain, and evaluating submissions
* Extracting quantities from drawings for procurement, verifying subcontractor applications, and pricing variations
* Conducting on-site measurements
* Engaging in subcontractor procurement and analysis
* Placing purchase orders for labour, materials, and preliminary items
* Overseeing subcontract packages from procurement to final account settlement
* Evaluating and finalising cost variations
Requirements:
🔹 Experience within fit-out or construction projects
🔹 Experience of working on JCT or NEC contracts
🔹 Strong organisation and communication skills
