We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to support our client based in Bishop’s Stortford, who are a data specialist recruiter for commercial and technical professionals for the UK, Europe, and United States. The company has a proven track record of helping experienced professionals within data focused markets and fast-tracking candidates’ careers.This is an important role involving supporting the sales team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office, including administrative and operational tasks to help them achieve their sales targets. The successful candidate must be highly organised, courteous, and professional along with having excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with clients and candidates. Salary package and benefits for the role of Office Administrator include:

  • Basic £25,000 - £28,000
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities and duties for the role of Office Administrator include:

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Managing calendars
  • Speaking with potential customers/clients
  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Manage and schedule client meetings and appointments
  • Assist with sales presentations and proposals
  • Manage office operations
  • Oversee office maintenance and ensure a safe and clean work environment
  • Manage office budget and track expenditures
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales team members and other departments

Key skills required for the role of Office Administrator are:

  • Previous office administration experience
  • Ideally experience within a sales environment
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Build rapport with clients, colleagues, and superiors
  • A proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software
  • Be able to prioritise workload
  • Manage multiple deadlines
