Based in Cheshire, this is a fantastic opportunity to join this National Construction Contractor to drive H&S strategies and operations across the businessYour key duties and responsibilities will be primarily to drive H&S standards, strategies and procedures across the business, and driving a collaborative safety culture across the business. You'll be supporting the project teams with guidance and the processes required to maximise H&S across their sitesYou'll have full responsibility for carrying out H&S plans, RAMS (in conjunction with site teams), sites audits and inspections. You'll drive environmental practices across the company, with an ethos of application and improvement inline with the overall business's environmental objectivesYou'll have a strong background in driving the highest standards of H&S within a Construction environment, and will ideally have experience in working for a Principal Contractor. You must be able to build rapport with site project teams, so you must be a strong communicator, have excellent leadership skills and be successful at driving H&S strategies, policies and procedures across live sitesYou must have extensive experience working for a Main Contractor in a H&S Management role. You will have NEBOSH, and also a working practice of Environmental standards, or ideally working towards an Environmental qualification
