History Teacher Needed

Highgate - October 2024 Start!Are you looking for a fresh start in October 2024 at an school in Highgate, London? Prospero Teaching are looking for a History Teacher to work at a Mixed co-educational Secondary School in Highgate for a long-term position.

POSITION DETAILS:
· Location - Highgate, London
· Position - History Teacher
· Contract or position start date - October 2024
· Contract or position end date (if applicable) - Permanent / July 2025
· Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Perm / temp to perm
· Full time/part time - Full Time
· Minimum rate of pay - Minimum salary GBP 36,000 - GBP 51,000 annually
· Hours - 8:00 am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· QTS or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
· Must have taught GCSE History
· Experience teaching science to KS5 minimum or ECT status
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year desirable however not essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references
