We are partnered with a leading Main Contractor and Specialist Subcontractors seeking a talented and experienced Site Manager. With a strong background in Carpentry/Shopfitting a Site Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Fit-out and New Build works including coordinating with contractors, ensuring safety compliance, managing the project timeline, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Reporting directly to the site-based Project Manager, you will oversee all on-site activities of new build and fit-out projects from initiation to completion ensuring quality & deadlines are met.

*

Monitor day-to-day activities on site and track project progress, making adjustments as needed ensuring tasks are completed to specification and standards.

*

Ensure all subcontractors and workers adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations promoting a culture of safety on-site.

*

Work closely with designers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues related to the design or specifications.

*

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality in workmanship & the project is being executed according to plans and specifications.

*

Address any defects or issues during the fit-out and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.

*

Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

*

7+ years' experience in a similar role with focus on the New Build, Fit Out, and with strong carpentry background.

*

SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are desirable.

*

Strong leadership and team management skills.

*

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

*

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
