Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Days

(Electrically biased, mechanical skills advantageous)

Chesterfield, Derbyshire

£40k plus overtime and a quarterly bonus scheme

Days over Monday to Friday - 8 hours between 06:00 and 16:00

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical skills bias although additional skills and experience in mechanical system maintenance would be an advantage. You will deliver a combination of proactive planned maintenance and reactive fault finding and repairs to the site plant and machinery. You will also play a key role in the ongoing improvement of the site's approach to maintenance planning and delivery giving a real opportunity to suggest, own, and deliver improvements. There are plans to increase and improve the use of automation across the site, a great opportunity for you to contribute to the development and upgrade of site machinery and systems.

Safety is at the forefront of everything at the site, you would be expected to support the application of safe working practices and systems.

What you will need:

* Formal qualifications in electrical engineering or electrical maintenance.

* Proven industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

* Excellent fault-finding skills in electrical systems, both new and old using root cause analysis tools.

* A continuous improvement mindset.

* Proven experience in the use of safe systems of work (LOTO, risk assessments etc)

* Prior experience in supporting the improvement of maintenance planning, implementing new systems, and proactively improving plant reliability would be a distinct advantage.

* Some mechanical maintenance skills would be an advantage.
