Full-Time Cover Supervisor Required - Primary School - No planning required!

About the Role:

U-Educate is working with a partner School who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Cover Supervisor to join the team. This exciting role involves supervising and supporting primary-aged students across various subjects in the absence of their regular class teacher. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise Classes: Ensure a calm and structured learning environment in the absence of the class teacher, following pre-set lesson plans and activities.

* Support Students: Engage students in their learning, ensuring they stay on task and are fully supported, including those with additional needs.

* Manage Behavior: Implement the school's behavior policies to maintain good order and promote a positive classroom environment.

* Provide Feedback: Report on students' progress, behavior, and any issues to teachers and senior staff.

* Support SEN Students: Provide additional support for children with special educational needs as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Experience: Previous experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in a supervisory or support role (desirable).

* Classroom Management: Strong ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.

* Communication: Excellent communication skills, both with children and colleagues.

* Adaptability: Flexible and proactive approach to teaching and supervision, able to adapt to varying classroom settings.

* Passion for Education: A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
