Partnership Projects Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Suffolk (Home-based with regular site work)
Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Partnership Projects Engineer to join our client, a collaborative group managing flood risk and land drainage. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for water engineering management, looking to make a significant impact in the field.

Day-to-day of the role:

Collaborate with partners to design and develop water management projects.
Work with operations teams to facilitate on-site delivery of schemes.
Administer contracts and agreements relevant to the projects.
Produce AutoCAD drawings and safety documentation.
Assist with the financial management of projects, including budgeting and tendering activities.
Oversee projects from conception to implementation, including monitoring work on site.
Provide support on all engineering and operations delivery matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant degree, HND, or HNC in an Engineering-related subject with 3-5 years post-graduate experience.
Working towards Chartered Engineer status (IEng, CEng MICE, or IEng, MCIWEM).
Valid certificates in First Aid at Work, CITB 5-day SMSTS, and CSCS card are advantageous.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office suite.
Knowledge of Construction Design & Management (CDM) 2015 Regulations.
Experience with river restoration and environmental improvement projects is beneficial.
Familiarity with NEC3 and/or NEC4 ECC and PSC contracts.
Proven record of managing civil engineering projects in the flood risk or drainage industry.
Understanding of relevant Health and Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and diplomacy skills.
Ability to work well with others at all levels, both internally and externally.
Strong technical ability with attention to detail and self-organisation.
