The Role

Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team in Kent working on painting and decorating projects valuing up to £5 million.

You'll play a vital role in supporting the commercial and pre-construction teams, managing project costs, and preparing accurate tenders to ensure financial efficiency across all stages of delivery.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for painting and decorating projects

* Analyse tender documentation and prepare comprehensive quotations

* Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers

* Monitor and manage project budgets, valuations, and variations

* Prepare cost reports and ensure commercial risk is minimised

* Support with procurement and negotiation of subcontractor packages
