Our client, a renowned music company, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join their Rights Management team as a Senior Coordinator. With a deep curiosity about how revenue is tracked and managed within the industry, they are eager to bring on someone who can contribute their existing knowledge and grow further in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. A keen eye for detail and a talent for problem-solving, especially when it comes to identifying and resolving discrepancies in royalty data, are essential traits.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management, tracking, and reconciliation of incoming royalty statements.
  • Address royalty data queries, providing insightful solutions.
  • Continuously improve royalty tracking processes.
  • Identify and resolve any anomalies in royalty data.
  • Reconcile royalty data with accounting data to ensure full accuracy.
  • Create detailed internal and external reports using BI tools.
  • Query internal databases to extract relevant data.
  • Support the team with any ad hoc projects that arise.
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a label, publisher, rights society, or a similar environment.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficient in Excel.
  • Experience working with royalty data.
  • Familiarity with SQL and BI tools is preferred, but not essential.
  • A general understanding of rights societies and rights structures.
