Assembly Operative

£12.20ph Corby, Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm Permanent after successful temporary period, Immediate Start.* Early finish on a Friday *

Our client has been established for over 40 years as a leading manufacturer of high-quality precision cutting equipment supplying the wide format printing and sign-making industry and picture framing industries.

Duties:

Assembling manual cutting machines.
Working to production and planning time frames.
Undertake quality checks and final test to meet and ensure company standards are met.
Housekeeping of work area, ensuring H&S regulations are always adhered to.
Complete production documentation as required.
Assist colleagues in other areas as and when required by supporting the company's continuous improvement programme.
Undertake training as required.

The Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight with the ability to produce quality work.
Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Experience of working in a similar role
Able to manage own work and deliver on time.
Lean experience would be advantageous

We would expect the successful Assembly Operative, to demonstrate previous experience in a similar production role. We are keen to hear from candidates who have worked within manufacturing and assembly, who have the ability to work as part of a quality focused team and work well to time deadlines, with training provided.
