Senior Engineer

Salary - £40,000-£50,000 DOE

Location - Bedford

What are we looking for?

* Experience working on residential and non-residential projects around the UK, from small private developers to national house builders and master planning schemes.

* Proven experience with the preparation of technical submissions

* Liaise and communicate with clients, third party consultants/ council officers and attend meetings

* Liaise and communicate with the wider engineering team and assist with management of the team

* Proficient knowledge of UK Drainage/Flood Risk

* Proficient knowledge of Client& Local Authority standards and requirements

* Proficient with Microdrainage/Flow, Microstation/AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and Microsoft Software (Word/Excel etc)

* Be able to manage their own workload/deadlines and run their own projects

* Be able to use drainage and 3D design software such as Flow and PDS to model drainage networks and produce road designs/ground models

* Undertake due diligence and feasibility reviews of potential sites and prepare submission packs for planning (Outline/Detail/Full)

* Complete technical design submissions trough to approval

* Complete groundworks packages for tender/construction

* Strong understanding of the planning process and associated documents (Flood Risk Assessments)

* You will have proven experience in the industry and have a desire to progress your career through to director level

* Experience with private plot work design and earthwork design is desirable
