JOB - Senior/ Lead Electrical Design Engineer  
LOCATION - Greater Manchester
TERM - Permanent 
SALARY - circa £45,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience (higher end for previous leadership experience)

A Greater Manchester based Engineering company are currently looking for a Senior/ Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Senior/Lead Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
Previous experience & knowledge of LV Switchgear solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft office, outlook, excel etc.
Ideally some experience & knowledge of AutoCAD design package (not essential).
Ability to lead a team & strong communication skills.
Full UK driving license.The Senior/ Lead Electrical Design Engineer's duties will involve:

Lead the design, applications & compliance for all LV engineering.
Ensuring customer requirements are met at all times.
Training & supervision for the junior electrical design & applications engineers.
Producing BoMs, wiring diagrams & electrical schematics.
Troubleshooting & testing when required.
Attending site visits when required.
Liaising closely with sales and other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
