Job Title: Plumber / Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £43,000 - £47,000 per year (depending on experience and competence)
The Role
We are currently seeking a highly dependable and experienced Plumber / Mechanical Engineer to join our growing mechanical team. This role plays a vital part in our continued expansion and will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical installations, supporting tender returns, and collaborating closely with the electrical operations team. You'll report directly to the Mechanical Supervisor and play a key role in the delivery of mechanical works across multiple sites in London.
Responsibilities

Install and maintain hot and cold-water systems
*
Install and maintain heating and underfloor heating systems
*
Work on soil and waste systems
*
Accurately interpret technical drawings and schematics
*
Manage day-to-day site works, order materials, and liaise with PMs and supervisors
*
Contribute to quoting/tender processes and business development
Required Qualifications & Experience
*
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating (minimum)
*
Valid CSCS card (preferred)
*
Gas Safe registration (preferred)
*
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
*
Demonstrable experience on mechanical systems in high-end residential projects
*
Excellent understanding of health & safety procedures and industry best practices
*
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
