Vehicle Technician

Vanta Staffing Reading is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to work for our client based in the Farnham area. This will involve general Admin work; this role would suit the right candidate who wants consistent work with a prestigious company.

Experience:

• You must have detailed experience as an HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles
• You will be working on modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units and rigid commercial vehicles

Skills:  

• In order to qualify for the role, the successful Vehicle Technician will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds).
• You must have detailed experience as an HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
• Hold a full UK driving Licence

Main Duities:

• Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
• You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required
• You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units and rigid commercial vehicles

Job Type: Full-time - 40 hours per week 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 Depending on experience
