Costs Draftsperson
Location: Remote (With occasional travel to our Cardiff office)Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

As a Costs Draftsperson, your duties will include:
- Drafting and managing caseloads effectively, ensuring all work is completed with attention to detail and a focus on profitability.
- Adhering to established workflows, ensuring that processes are followed consistently and accurately.
- Providing technical support and supervision to junior members of the team, acting as a mentor to help them develop their skills.
- Maintaining high standards of client service, ensuring that all time spent is recorded accurately and that case management systems are utilised efficiently.
- You'll dive into a wide variety of costs requirements, mastering the budgeting process while maximizing the recovery of costs and maintaining the highest level of accuracy.
This role is perfect for someone looking to deepen their experience in costs law, develop leadership skills, and contribute to a growing, client-focused team.
About you:
- You will have previous experience working as a Costs Draftsperson / Cost Lawyer handling a Caseload.
- An expert in drafting and preparing documents to a high standard in terms of presentation and attention to detail is essential.
- A strong understanding of preparing detailed costs estimates and security for costs applications.
- Excellent communicator both in person and in writing, confident and comfortable writing reporting and presenting information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Personal injury and/or clinical negligence experience would be highly advantageous.
