Senior Audit ManagerAmbition is working with a leading mid-tier firm that is looking to add a Senior Audit Manager to their team due to growth.

You will work with a range of non-listed clients across various sectors, including SMEs and multinationals. The firm has a partner-led approach to ensure their clients receive personal and exceptional service. You will be able to build personal relationships with your clients and act as an advisor.

The Role:

  • Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of audit fieldwork and statutory reporting across a portfolio of clients.
  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of the audit, including timelines, team briefings, and supervising audit work.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure audit work meets our firm's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their business needs, and provide valuable insights.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support for high performance and professional development.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks within the audit process and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply technical knowledge to complex audit issues and provide solutions to clients.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the audit practice.
  • Reporting: Review and finalise audit reports, ensuring accuracy and clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to continuously improve audit methodologies and practices.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Over 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity
  • Right to work in the UK is preferred
