A Midlands Local Authority is seeking an experienced Locum Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal team. This role will focus on managing a varied caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters, with additional oversight of a small, self-sufficient team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on commercial contracts and procurement matters, providing legal expertise and guidance
• Supervise and advise a small team on complex commercial issues as needed
• Support upcoming Invitation to Tender (ITT) for waste contracts, with prior experience in this area a plus

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience in commercial contracts law and procurement matters
• Skilled in managing and advising on complex contracts
• Previous experience with ITT waste contracts is beneficial but not essential
• Available for a full-time or part-time remote role
