We have an opportunity for an Estimator to join a fast-growing general construction company who undertake a range of education and industrial/ commercial new build and refurbishment schemes.

You will be working in a small estimating team, with the guidance of an experienced Head of Estimating

They are looking for an Assistant or mid-level Estimator who is looking to expand their career and help to grow the company further.

The Role - Estimator

About the job

As an estimator, you'll be working under their Head of Estimating and working with the wider team across the education and commercial sectors on projects ranging from £100k to £5m.

You will be responsible for:

* Quoting for work from specs, drawing and site visits.

* Speaking to clients and subcontractors to understand requirements.

* Contract Negotiation.

* Site visits alongside clients and subcontractors.

* Organising workload and reporting to the Head of Estimating.

Applicant requirements Estimator

* Must have experience doing, measures, take offs, programmes, clarifications, and pricing construction projects.

* Experience using estimating software would be beneficial.

* You could be a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to move into Estimating or a Trainee, Assistant, or intermediate level Estimator.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (8:00-17:00) based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
