About the role:

Are you passionate about education and dedicated to helping students thrive in their learning journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant school community in Brent, London.

As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential. You will work closely with classroom teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons, lead small group activities, and provide one-on-one support to students as required.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
• A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.

• Lead intervention sessions and small group activities to support students' learning progress.

• Provide individualised support to pupils, including those with special educational needs.

• Manage behavior within the classroom, promoting a positive learning environment.
