Level 3 Nursery Room Leader

Salary: £30,000

We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Nursery Room Leader to join our client's growing Early Years team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a genuine love for working with infants, and the expertise to support their unique developmental needs.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be instrumental in fostering a safe, engaging environment where each child can flourish at their own pace.

Qualifications:

• A Level 3 in Early Years or above
• Proven experience working with infants in a nursery setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of nursery staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to build effective partnerships with parents and colleagues
• Up-to-date knowledge of child development, safeguarding practices, and health and safety regulations
• A proactive and compassionate approach to working with young children, ensuring each child's well-being and happiness

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of nursery staff, ensuring that all activities and routines meet the unique needs of each child
• Plan and implement a variety of developmental activities that promote growth, learning, and sensory exploration in infants
• Build strong, supportive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and maintaining transparent communication
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe nursery environment, consistently adhering to health and safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Support the professional development of nursery staff through guidance, mentorship, and fostering a positive team culture
• Collaborate with the wider nursery team to create a cohesive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children
