My client, a rapidly expanding top 50 firm are seeking a driven, customer focused individual to play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our clients, working with a diverse range of client groups and sectors throughout the Midlands. This position offers the chance to gain broad exposure to various service needs and further develop your skills. By supervising the audit team and mentoring junior members, you will be essential to the success of your projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the audit process for clients, reporting directly to the Manager, Director, or Partners.
• Supervise an audit team with confidence, providing leadership, guidance, and support to junior team members as needed.
• Ensure audit files meet required standards.
• Prepare both statutory and non-statutory accounts.
• Assign tasks and oversee the work of junior staff members, followed by reviewing their output.
• Draft journals that require an understanding of complex accounting principles.
• Complete assignments within budget, recording any variations promptly.
• Execute detailed technical work and play a crucial role in delivering client services in a supportive manner.
