Maintenance Engineer - Durham - Temporary (Immediate Start)

Location: Durham

Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm

Hourly Pay Rate: £24.00p/h Via Umbrella

A World Leading Service Provider who operate on an International scale is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer based in Durham area on a temporary contract working on a large site.

Key Responsibilities include:

* To carry out planned preventative maintenance, remedial works, reactive repairs and manage/supervise sub contractors.

* Ensure all PPMs are carried out in line with PPM planner and SLAs.

* Ensure all vendors deliver services in line with the contractual obligations and expectations.

* To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with PPM operations.

* Assist contract support and Contract Manager in administering the PPM and reactive monthly works.

* Ensure compliance with CBRE policies and procedures.

* Ensure the provision of health and safety working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both CBRE and sub contractor's activities, and regularly review a percentage of each task.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

* Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering OR plumbing

* Must be able to obtain a basic DBS

* Experience in commercial building services

* General maintenance experience

* Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage
