Prospero Teaching is looking for a Secondary tutor in or around Stockport to deliver individual specialist tuition to Secondary students who are currently out of education, requiring assistance with Core Subjects. As a tutor, you will promote and support the education of children, many of these will require additional support, and perhaps even at risk of permanent exclusion. You will be required to focus on boosting progress, confidence and independence, offering structure into their daily routine. This opportunity is ideal for teachers looking to step away from the classroom, and offer more personalised lessons. Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning. End date (if applicable) Ongoing Contract type Temporary Full time/part time Part time and full time depending on availability Rate of Pay GBP25 per hour through our umbrella company. Hours Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent 6 months+ experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
