I'm currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support a high-profile automation project at the Runcorn manufacturing site. This is a 6-month contract (outside IR35), paying £350/day, with an immediate start available.

Project Scope:

Delivery of automated Rigid cabinet assembly line installation and commissioning

Mechanical & electrical removal/installation of existing and new equipment

Integration with existing systems and infrastructure

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) / Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

CDM compliance and supplier RAMS review

Full project lifecycle: planning → install → commissioning → ramp-up → handover

Experience Required:

Strong background in automation, production line installation, and technical commissioning

Comfortable working from technical drawings and supplier documentation

Hands-on knowledge of dust extraction systems is a bonus

Experience managing risk registers, snag lists, and CDM documentation
