This pivotal role involves the negotiation of claim settlements in a manner that is efficient, equitable, and economical, adhering to policy wording and the Claims Handling Manual. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining policy integrity, and fostering a swift recovery process where feasible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adherence to pre and post-litigation procedures to resolve claims effectively and cost-efficiently.
- Validation of claims against company records and identification of any underwriting concerns.
- Thorough investigation of loss circumstances and conducting liability enquiries.
- Verification and authorisation of accounts/fee notes and payments.
- Consistent maintenance of accurate estimates and necessary adjustments throughout the claim's lifecycle.
