Commercial Director International Hospitality Company

An exciting opportunity for a hospitality experienced Commercial Director to join this international company, overseeing their expanding South African operations based in Johannesburg.

About the role: 

• To achieve South Africa's commercial objectives & revenue targets while leading the Commercial team responsible for growing market share. 

• Collaborate with peer Commercial and Sales Heads to leverage sales distribution networks & marketing platforms to ensure brand consistency, policy & pricing integrity.  

• To work with broader cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring business success. 

• Lead specific assigned strategic accounts to grow market share, create bias and brand loyalty, identify new business development opportunities and grow the brands visibility.

• Understanding market conditions and industry trends, as well as business operations to inform business marketing and sales strategy. Working with the Head of Marketing to plan and execute marketing campaigns to generate new revenue streams and promote business growth.

• Success is measured by how the commercial director can expand our company's commercial activities and generate revenue streams for sustainable financial growth.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of sales/ commercial experience

• BSc/BA/ MSc/MA in business administration, finance or a relevant field preferably or work experience equivalent 

• Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
