About the Role:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to secondary students, ensuring they develop strong literacy skills and a love for the subject. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Support and challenge students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff to support the wider school community.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience teaching English at a secondary school level.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
