Quantity Surveyor - Tier One Property Services Contractor - Enfield, Greater London - up to £60,000 + benefits

Quantity Surveyor required to work for a leading property services contractor near Enfield to deliver planned refurbishments in the social housing refurbishment industry. Contracts will be a mixture of PPC or JCT, with suitable candidates being placed on workstreams to best suit their skillset. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity for plenty of career progression within a rapidly expanding business unit. Example responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor below:

Cost estimation and budgeting
Procurement of materials and subcontractors
Contract management and negotiation
Cost control and monitoring
Valuation of works and progress payments
Risk management and mitigation
Variation and change order management
Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Final accounts and project close-out
Liaising with stakeholders (clients, contractors, consultants)
Reporting on financial performance
Ensuring value for money and cost efficiency
Managing health and safety costs
