Role Responsibilities
  • Leading the end-to-end process of internal audit assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery for review by senior managers or partners
  • Conducting audit fieldwork (approximately 70% of your role), both on-site and remotely, using a risk-based approach
  • Drafting and presenting detailed reports and recommendations to clients (approximately 30% of your role)
  • Liaising with clients to plan tailored audit schedules based on their unique risks and governance requirements
  • Supporting and guiding junior team members, including reviewing their work and offering coaching where needed
  • Ensuring time and budget targets are met on each assignment
  • Getting involved in business development activities, such as client meetings and local networking events

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / IIA part or fully qualified status (essential)
  • Proven experience planning and delivering internal audits across a range of clients (essential)
  • Confidence in client-facing roles with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to build rapport with clients, partners, and team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
