Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required for our client, a HVAC specialist who are part of a larger group of companies, within the HVAC industry. This opportunity involves selling the clients specialist range of climate control solutions, specifically chillers and commercial heat pumps to HVAC and building services consultants, contractors and installers across the Midlands region.

Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

£55,000 - £65,000 Basic salary
Commission / bonus structure to be discussed at interview (will be agreed upon based on agreed targets etc.)
Company car or car allowance
33 days annual leave, including bank holiday
Rest of package discussed at interview

You will work from home and be required to visit customers (contractors / consultants / installers) across the Midlands, with access to an office in Warwickshire if required. To be considered for the position you must have a proven sales record dealing with contractors, ideally with a technical background / experience specifically selling chiller and / or commercial heat pumps. E.g. It would be highly advantageous to have worked for another chiller or heat pump manufacturer. The client may also consider, candidates with experience selling packaged air conditioning systems or AHU's, should they have strong industry contacts.

Air Conditioning Sales Engineer / Air Conditioning Sales Manager will be tasked with increasing sales of all product types throughout the Region. This will be achieved by developing new business leads as well as responding to customer enquiries and building on existing customers through effective account management.

Sales Engineer Job Requirements

Proven technical understand of HVAC systems, ideally, specifically chillers and commercial heat pumps
Proven sales record selling to Contractors, Consultants and Installers
Based in the Midlands
Full UK Driving license
Strong industry contracts highly advantageous
Presentable with excellent customer service skills
