Key skills: Need to possess strong ability with SQL, and working experience in project management - alongside proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and advanced skills with Excel.Our client is seeking a Technical Consultant to join their organisation, partnering with their customers to implement our systems into their business. The professional services team is responsible for helping each customer by helping them to realise the benefits and full scope of our products through streamlined, best-practice business processes. Their product suite offers a vast array of capabilities, and the professional services team is there to help the customers put those capabilities into action.
Responsibilities
- Use disciplined project management methodology and tools with a high level of discretion to implement and configure increasingly larger and more complex enterprise products to solve customer business needs.
- Scoping and estimation of effort required for small and medium implementation projects.
- Provide excellent high-touch customer service, building strong relationships and ensuring that each customer is a reference.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction (based upon survey scores).
- Troubleshoot implementation issues.
- Configure, test and refine multiple interacting system modules.
- Liaise with customer and third-party IT teams regarding connectivity (e.g. file or API-based transfer of data).
- Understanding overall technical aspects of the organisation's software, including application architecture and infrastructure.
- Increase knowledge and experience to become a subject-matter expert in products and services and their application in a business environment.
- Prepare and provide project status and risk assessments to their manager with appropriate levels of detail to ensure that implementation stays on schedule.
- Provide basic training and mentoring to new team members and customers.
Required Skills
- Project management experience is exhibited by working independently on projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to solve problems and help others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to share ideas and influence decisions.
- Collaborative in nature with a strong desire to dig in and learn independently and as well as through asking questions.
