We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with a good knowledge of the Leeds market. Our Client has recently opened a new office in the area and is looking for support to grow a team.

The Role:

* Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion

* Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint

* Supporting and developing junior staff members

* Have a good understanding of British Standards and Euro Codes as well as UK Building regulations

* Be proficient in the use of the following software:

Tekla Tedds
Tekla Building Designer
AutoCAD
A basic knowledge of Revit
Microsoft Office

Your Experience

* Educated to degree level as a minimum, ideally a Masters Degree

* You will be chartered or approaching chartered status

* You will have a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience

* Have a strong project history within large developments and having worked examples of these:

* Demonstrate experience in the following sectors -

Industrial / Logistics
Hotels
Residential
Offices
Public Sector
