Job Profile:
As a Colorectal Cancer CNS you will be responsible for providing expert information, clinical support and guidance to patients undergoing diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for colorectal cancer. Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, nurses, and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in delivering individualised, evidence-based care whilst optimising support for patients and their care partners through every step of their cancer journey, in the essential capacity as their keyworker and advocate.

Key Duties:
- Act as a clinical expert and key contact for colorectal cancer patients.
- Empower patients by providing specialist advice, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
- Lead on the development of personalised care plans, ensuring high standards of care.
- Work collaboratively with oncologists, surgeons, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
- Contribute to service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with extensive experience in oncology/colorectal cancer.
- Proven expertise as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (or trainee CNS) or in an Advanced Practice Role.
- Strong leadership, communication, autonomy and decision-making skills.
- Passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centred care.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in cancer care.
