Our Client based in Alton has a requirement for a Production Operative on a permanent basis. You will undertake all aspect of manual component placement and inspection.

The Role

* Hand solder surface mount components to IPC 610 standards

* Manufacture cable harnesses from drawings and wiring schedules

* Mechanical assembly from outline drawings

* Rework for upgrades of SMT components

* Perform detailed quality inspections of populated circuit boards

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Confident working in a demanding and pressurised environment

* Adaptable and flexible an approach to change

* Planning and Organising - ability to work to strict deadlines

* Excellent team worker, with the ability and self-discipline to work alone effectively

* Problem solving and analytical skills to provide effective solutions
