Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for assisting the sales team in managing customer accounts, providing administrative support, coordinating with other departments, and helping to ensure smooth sales operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excellent at multitasking, and happy to pick up the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

* Making outbound sales calls: to prospective customers

* Order Processing: Manage and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.

* Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update the CRM system with customer data, sales activities, and follow-ups.

* Coordinate Sales Activities: Schedule meetings, calls, and follow-ups for the sales team with clients and internal stakeholders.

* Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, including sales forecasts, tracking key metrics, and compiling sales data.

* Communication: Act as a point of contact for customers regarding order status, product information, and other inquiries, ensuring prompt responses.

* Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise between the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, and operations) to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and customer satisfaction.

* Inventory and Stock Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels and ensure timely reorders of products where needed.

* Sales Support Documentation: Prepare and manage sales-related documentation, such as contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.

* Event and Trade Show Support: Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and customer engagement activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

* Experience: Experience in a sales support, sales administration, or customer service role. Experience in a fast-paced sales environment is preferred.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.

* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and clients.

* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.

* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.

* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with sales and other departments to achieve common goals.

* Customer Focused: High level of customer service and relationship management skills.
