Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, are currently recruiting for a brand new Teaching Assistant role!

Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Chorley

Start Date: 2nd of September, 2024

Hourly Rate: £13.43 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week (8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes for lunch)

Role Type: Long-term, ongoing, temp-to-perm

Description: A Primary School in central Chorley are looking for a general Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 class.

All applicants must have:
·         At minimum, a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
·         Experience of working within a Primary School setting
·         A positive and hard-working attitude

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Assisting the class teacher
•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
•Developing a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
•Demonstrating excellent behaviour management skillsIn return, we will offer the following services:
