Warehouse Operative

£12.28 / £12.64 per hour plus overtime rates and excellent benefits

Our client based in St Ives has a large production facility. They are looking for a temporary to permanent warehouse operative to join their team due to internal promotion. The environment is clean.

Main responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:

* Decanting/unboxing incoming goods.

* Picking and locating stock in the Warehouse.

* Removing waste packaging and recycling.

* Carry out routine inventory counts.

* Lifting and moving products up to 20kg.

* Using a computer system to book in and out.

Skills required for the Warehouse Operative:

* Experience of a busy warehouse.

* Computer literate.

* Ability to work following standard work procedures in a fast-paced environment.

* Attention to detail and reliability.

* Excellent communication and be able to communicate in English.

* A hands-on person, keen to learn.

* Forklift would be ideal however the client is also happy to train.

Hours of work for the Warehouse Operative:

* Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1.30pm
