Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Unit at Trafford General Hospital. In this role, you will provide expert care to patients with neurological conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and enhance patients' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized assessments and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans for patients with neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
• Lead and support team development, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Educate patients and families on self-management strategies to optimize long-term outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience working with neurological patients, ideally within a hospital setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• A commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care.
