Maintenance Engineer (40 hours per week) required for manufacturing company in Manchester. This role will be very busy and will require someone who can work on their own initiative, be a good all rounder and used to working in a small team. The environment is a busy manufacturing one, with a strong order book and investment from a large PLC.

Key skills

• Mechanical & electrical maintenance

• Must be a hands on person and be flexible, particularly during busy times

• Carry out both routine and preventative maintenance and able to formulate lists for preventative maintenance

• Several different types of machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic. Training can be provided.

• Manage contractors on site through permit system

• Manage facilities and compliance

• Salary will commensurate with skills and experience
