An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Internal Sales Person within a Plumbing and Pipeline Merchant based in Salford. We are are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team.

The main duties include:

* Dealing with customer orders by inputting them on the computer system, along with any customer queries.

* Building relationships with customers

* Answering telephones and email

* Cold calling customers to drum up new business and promote offers

* Support branch with any current projects like stock checks etc

* Creating customer quotes from customers enquires

* Support the trade counter during busy times of the day

* Develop sales within our bathroom showroom

* Achieving monthly branch targets

* Raising orders with manufactures

* Taking part in manufactures training and meetings

* Provide an efficient and professional service for customers

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous sales experience preferably from the merchant sector

* Experience of the plumbing industry is essential (bathrooms, heating and or pipeline)

* Be well organised, confident and outgoing

* Have an excellent telephone manner

* Have a good standard of written English and strong verbal communication skills

* Have the ability to work confidently using your own initiative and be able to prioritise and organise workloads with support and instruction

* Have a smart, and professional appearance

* Be able to work well in a team and get along with colleagues

* Have a minimum of 5 x GCSE at including grades A*-C in Maths and English

You will report to the Branch Manager who will be able to train you effectively in the areas required
