Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business in the Scunthorpe area to recruit an Interim Accountant to join their finance team.   This role will support with the BAU finance activities, whilst the business go through a new accounting system implementation. Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Monthly profit and loss reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Oversight and maintenance of ledgers (nominal, receivable, payable)
• Monthly reporting and analysis of aged inventory.
• Overhead analysis – Actual vs Budget reporting on a departmental level.
• Capex reporting and maintenance – Ensuring relevant project paperwork is complete
• and projects are capitalized upon completion, group reports are completed in a timely
• and accurate manner.
• Monitor and control intercompany recharges and reconciliations
• Processing of expenses, credit cards etc
• Preparation and processing of supplier payment runs
• Submission and reconciliation of monthly payroll
• Quarterly Stock Counts
• Other adhoc duties as required

To be successfully considered, you will bring the following skills and experience:

• Ideally Part or Fully AAT / CIMA / ACCA qualified 
• Experience working within a broad accounting role
• Proven time management and attention to detail skills
• Accounting software experience - ideally SAP
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
