Adept is excited to partner with a well-established manufacturer in the Sheffield area that specialises in producing specialist equipment. Due to a growing order book, they are now seeking to add a Senior Assembly Operative to their team.

SHIFTS - Monday- Friday- DAYS - Early finish on a Friday!

Salary - £Competitive DOE

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Liaising with the production team and Field Engineers to ensure orders are on track and correct.
Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten, and align parts in the assembly process.
Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and function correctly.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
Identify and report any defects or discrepancies during the assembly process.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Comply with company policies and regulations related to assembly processes and equipment operation.REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in an assembly role.
Ideally people management experience.
A wide understanding of mechanical components and their assembly.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
