SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Colindale, London. This part-time, temporary role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs.

About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in challenging behaviours, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Use de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement strategies to manage behaviours effectively.

• Work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

• Foster a safe and structured learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement and progress.

• Support the emotional and social development of students, building trust and rapport.
