On behalf of our client school, Tradewind is searched for a skilled Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Good school in Chorlton.

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Chorlton
Start Date: Immediate start available
Schedule: Full-time, part-time and day-to-dayThis role will include:

Assisting a pupils with special educational needs, typically on a one-to-one basis
Ensuring the safety and well-being of the young individual under your supervision
Collaborating with the school team to create a stimulating, secure, and nurturing learning environment for students

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £84 and £90 per day, depending on experience.

About you

The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving class. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of child with additional needs on and one-to-one basis.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
Essential Requirements:

-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1/KS2

-A CV that covers full employment history with any CV gaps explained

-The right to work in the UK
