Are you a passionate, creative and dedicated Secondary Science specialist teacher, looking for a new role in a supportive school? This position is ideal for candidates who are experienced at teaching to A Level or alternatively this post is also suitable for newly qualified Teachers. Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and provision of an engaging curriculum through appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, making policies and teaching strategies
Plan, prepare and deliver high quality learning experiences meeting the National Curriculum with regards for the schools aims, policies and schemes of work. This includes online learning where necessary
Set engaging and challenging tasks ensuring high level of students' interest
Provide developmental feedback to students guiding their learning to the next level
Provide reports on individual student progress to the Headteacher and parents
Attend Student Led Consultations and Open Evenings as required and directed
Adhere to school behaviour management policy setting clear expectations for students and establishing routines
A willingness to learn every step of the way
Experience teaching in a Secondary setting
Hold Qualified teacher status and relevant degree
Be able to demonstrate recent classroom experience
Be dedicated to raising standards and be a good role model
