Quantity Surveyor - Residential Groundworks

Location - Southampton

Salary - £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience

Company car or car allowance

Working radius is 75 miles from their office

Working hours - 7.30 am - 5.00 pm

A leading Civil Enigneering contractor are looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Residential Groundworks.

They are seeking an experienced Groundworks Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the cost aspects of groundworks projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for groundworks projects.
• Conduct site measurements and assessments.
• Monitor project progress and financial performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant experience.
• Proven experience in groundworks quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools.
