Robert Half are assisting a global market leading utilities organisation to recruit a Intune SME on a 3 month contract - London based

Role

• Intune Deployment & Management: The Intune SME will design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune solutions for device life cycle management, including enrolment, configuration, compliance, and security policies.
• Policy Development: Create and enforce Intune policies to ensure optimal device security, including device compliance, conditional access, app protection, and endpoint security policies.
• User Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a primary point of contact for Intune-related issues, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and support for internal teams and end-users.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure device compliance with security standards, addressing threats and vulnerabilities proactively, and maintaining alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API, etc.) to streamline Intune operations, enhance efficiency, and support large-scale deployments.
• Collaboration & Training: Work closely with IT, security, and support teams to integrate Intune with other tools and services. Provide training and documentation for users and technical staff on Intune usage and best practices.
• Reporting & Analytics: Create and manage reports on device compliance, usage, security status, and other KPIs. Present insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Intune and Microsoft 365 updates and emerging industry trends, recommending improvements to the existing infrastructure.

Profile

• Experience: The Intune SME will have 5+ years in IT with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Intune, Azure Active Directory, conditional access policies, device compliance, MDM/MAM, and Office 365. Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and experience with Graph API is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Azure certifications) are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
